Government Q & A*

*The government official from the Student Exchange Visitor Information System will be present to conduct Q&A on immigration matters related to international students and scholars.

“This is the first time that Bloomfield College will host this conference,” said Angela Yang, Director of International Programs and Services at the College. “The conference supports the international education initiative at minority-serving institutions. As Bloomfield falls into the category of History Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), I applied and received the Diversity Impact Program to receive support in building our programs. I think it is a great opportunity to promote Bloomfield College and further expand our international initiatives.”

As of the 2015-16 year, Bloomfield College has 61 matriculated international students from 18 countries. Among them, 31 students from Korea are enrolled in the College’s education program as a result of partnership with Korean Ministry of Education.

This conference is sponsored by the national organization NAFSA: Association of International Educators, Region X. With more than 10,000 members worldwide, NAFSA is the leading organization committed to international education and exchange.
