The Bloomfield College Athletic department will host their annual Bloomfield College Bears Maroon vs. Gold Softball Alumni Game on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Clarks Pond field in Bloomfield.

The fun-filled game for the Bears is eagerly anticipated after the team finished so well in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) postseason in the Spring under first-year head coach, Ashton Corley.

Coach Corley is currently filling the roster of the alumni team and seeking more former players who are interested in participating in the game. The goal is to fill two teams of past Bears/Deacons alumni for the game. The contest is scheduled for a single 9-inning slow-pitch game and will kick-off with a Home Run Derby.

"I look forward to seeing past players and coaches hit the field," Coach Corley remarked. "There has been so much talent and great people that have come through this program it will be awesome to have everyone together again."

If you would like to participate in the 2016 Maroon vs. Gold Softball Alumni Game please contact Coach Corley at or (973) 748-9000 EXT. 1756. If you would like to donate to or co-sponsor the alumni game, please contact Sports Information Director, Gladstone Harris, at for details.
