Women's Basketball Heading to the NCAA Tournament in the East Region

The Bloomfield College women's basketball team received the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament and will face No. 2 seed American International in the opening round on Friday, March 11, at Bentley University's Dana Center.
 
The Bears (24-7) earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons after reaching this year's conference championship game. Despite losing in the championship finals, Bloomfield recorded their highest win total since becoming an NCAA Division II institution and received an at-large bid to this year's tournament.
